Flick ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Flick mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and a username you choose.
Profile Information: Information you voluntarily provide such as your gender, dating preferences, bio, interests, likes, dislikes, and profile photos.
Usage Data: Information about how you use the app, including session counts, swipe activity, and feature interactions.
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and push notification tokens to deliver in-app notifications.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the app
- Match you with other users based on your preferences
- Enable real-time peer-to-peer video and chat features
- Send OTP codes and service-related notifications
- Process credit purchases and manage your balance
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or policy violations
- Improve and personalise your experience
3. Peer-to-Peer Communications
Video calls on Flick use WebRTC peer-to-peer technology. Call content is transmitted directly between users and is not stored on our servers. Signalling metadata (e.g. connection setup) passes through our servers but is not recorded.
4. Photos and Media
Profile photos you upload are stored on our servers and displayed to other users for matching purposes. You may delete your photos at any time from your profile settings. Deleted photos are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With service providers who assist us in operating the app (e.g. cloud hosting, payment processors) under strict confidentiality agreements
- If required by law or valid legal process
- To protect the safety of our users or the public
- In connection with a merger or acquisition, with prior notice
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed credentials, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but strive to protect your information to the best of our ability.
8. Children's Privacy
Flick is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.

You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Flick application. By accessing or using Flick, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Flick. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. Account Registration
To use Flick you must register with a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your account credentials secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Flick to:
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users
- Share explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content without consent
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited commercial messages
- Engage in any unlawful activity
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the app
- Use the app for commercial solicitation without our written consent
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, bio, messages). By uploading content, you grant Flick a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and deliver that content within the app solely to provide the service.
You are solely responsible for any content you submit and represent that you have the right to share it. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
5. Credits and Payments
Flick uses a virtual credit system to access certain features. Credits are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts or exchanged for real currency.
All purchases are final. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@flick.app within 14 days.
6. Matching and Video Calls
Flick provides a platform for users to connect via video and chat. We do not guarantee matches, call quality, or specific outcomes. Video calls are peer-to-peer; we do not monitor or record call content.
Any interaction you have with another user is solely between you and that user. Flick is not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the platform.
7. Reporting and Moderation
We provide in-app reporting tools. We investigate reports and may suspend or ban accounts found to be in violation of these Terms. However, we cannot guarantee immediate action or the removal of all harmful content.
8. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to Flick (excluding user content) are and will remain the exclusive property of Flick and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
9. Disclaimers
Flick is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Flick shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Flick has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page describes our standards, safeguards, and commitments to protecting minors.
1. Age Requirement
Flick is strictly for users aged 18 and older. Users must confirm they are at least 18 years old during registration. Accounts found to belong to minors are permanently removed immediately upon discovery.
2. Zero Tolerance for CSAE Content
Flick strictly prohibits any content that sexually exploits or abuses minors, including but not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
- Grooming, solicitation, or sexual communication directed at minors
- Sharing, distributing, or requesting CSAE content
- Any content that depicts, promotes, or normalises the sexual abuse of minors
Violations result in immediate and permanent account termination, and are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.
3. Reporting Mechanisms
Users can report any suspected CSAE content or behaviour directly within the app using the in-app report feature on any profile or during a video session. All reports are reviewed promptly. You can also report concerns directly to us at: safety@flickcrv.com
4. Moderation and Enforcement
We maintain active moderation processes to detect and remove policy-violating content and accounts. Enforcement actions include:
- Immediate suspension or permanent ban of offending accounts
- Removal of all associated content
- Reporting to NCMEC CyberTipline and local law enforcement where legally required
- Co-operation with law enforcement investigations
5. Platform Design Safeguards
Flick's platform is designed with child safety in mind:
- Email-verified registration with mandatory 18+ acknowledgement
- In-app block and report tools available on every user profile and video session
- Video streams are peer-to-peer and not recorded; no content is stored on our servers
- Reported users are reviewed and actioned before being allowed to continue using the platform
6. Compliance
Flick complies with applicable laws regarding CSAE, including the PROTECT Our Children Act and other relevant legislation. We are committed to working with industry bodies, NGOs, and law enforcement to continually improve our safeguards.
